About this translation

Original publication dates and historical context are preserved. Images, embedded media, source documents and code examples remain in their original language.

The following is the latest project completed by my valued students in the 2020-II semester of the System Dynamics Workshop course. It is one of the most interesting projects because it addresses a problem affecting all major cities: traffic congestion.

In this case, the students focused on the district of Ate in Lima – Peru. Ate is Peru's third-largest district by population and one of the most extensive in Metropolitan Lima. In addition, three main traffic arteries run through the district.

I invite you to review this work, and I believe it could be very useful for advancing future studies on the subject.
